Key Responsibilities Medication Administration: Accurately administer prescribed medications to patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse or physician, adhering to all state and facility guidelines. Patient Support: Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support, helping patients maintain their dignity and independence. Vital Signs Monitoring: Regularly check and record patient vitals, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any changes to the healthcare team. Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all care and medications provided. Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety and health protocols, ensuring medications are stored and handled securely and the patient environment is clean and hazard-free. Effective Communication: Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Qualifications Certification: Must have a current CMA certification and meet state-specific licensure requirements.
