Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) to join our healthcare staffing team. As an ED Tech, you will play a crucial role in assisting nurses and physicians in a fast-paced emergency department setting. Your responsibilities will include patient care, vital sign monitoring, specimen collection, and supporting emergency procedures to ensure efficient and high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities: Assist nurses and physicians with patient care procedures in the emergency department. Monitor and record patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and oxygen levels. Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and specimen collection as needed. Transport patients and assist with mobility when required. Maintain and stock emergency supplies and equipment. Provide emotional support and assistance to patients and their families. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times. Perform CPR and assist in emergency resuscitation efforts when necessary. Qualifications & Requirements: Education: High school diploma or GED required; additional training as an EMT, paramedic, or medical assistant preferred. Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS/PALS preferred. Experience: Minimum [X] years of experience as an ED Tech, EMT, or related role in a hospital emergency department setting. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and emergency procedures. Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a high-pressure environment.
