Job Description
The Radiology Technologist will play a critical role in our facility's success by performing various procedures under the direction of specialized physicians. This includes operating special imaging and radiology equipment, maintaining a sterile field during operating room and pain management procedures, and developing professional relationships with physicians and staff.
Requirements
- Independent decision-making skills are essential for this position.
- Prioritizing multiple projects and handling them efficiently is crucial.
- Excellent communication skills are necessary for interacting with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
- Verbal and non-verbal communication must be professional at all times.
- A graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology is required.
- AART registration and CPR certification are also necessary.
- A current Florida state license (MRT) is mandatory.
- A minimum of one year of experience is required, with three years preferred.
- Knowledge of local, state, federal, and Joint Commission Regulations is essential.
