TLC Physical Therapy in Crystal River, FL seeks a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team.
Job Summary:
This role involves instructing and motivating patients to learn and improve functional activities, documenting treatment progress, and conferring with healthcare professionals to plan and coordinate treatment programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instruct patients in proper techniques for improving functional activities.
- Detailed documentation of patient progress is essential.
- Patient responses to treatment and progress are observed and compiled into data.
- Fitting patients for orthopedic braces, prostheses, and supportive devices is required.
- Collaboration with physical therapy staff and other healthcare team members is crucial for exchanging, discussing, and evaluating patient information.
- Orienting new Physical Therapist Assistants and directing Physical Therapy Technicians is also part of this role.
Requirements:
- A valid Physical Therapist licensure in good standing or ability to obtain Florida state licensure.
- Experience as a Physical Therapist or welcoming new graduates.
- Must successfully complete all pre-employment standards.
