Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, the Crewman position is responsible for performing various laborious job tasks in a timely manner. A Crewman is responsible for various labor to assist TLC Properties.
From Grounds to Make Readies! This position does it all! A great place to learn about the maintenance process of turning a home for prospective residents.
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: Experience in residential maintenance, remodeling

Qualifications

- Remove trash and other personal items such as furniture from apartment homes in a safe and timely manner.
- Perform grounds keeping duties including, but not limited to: keeping buildings and grounds clean and orderly, cleaning breezeways, shoveling snow, deicing properties, picking up trash, picking up pet waste, emptying exterior trash cans and pet stations, checking exterior of the buildings for appearance, cleanliness, sanitary conditions, and other grounds duties as directed.
- Pick up and dispose of items found at the property dumpster areas.
- Perform landscaping duties including, but not limited to: pulling weeds, leaf removal, trimming hedges, edging grass, and any other beautification needs.
- Clean and maintain pools and hot tubs for various properties.
- Pre-paint cleaning to include wiping down surfaces such as trim, walls, and/or doors.
- Pre-paint vacuuming of carpet when needed.
- Communicate with team on a regular basis to ensure completion of the project and satisfaction of the customer.
- Consistently pass proper inspection of completed work.
- Participate in the on-call shift rotation and follow all procedures outlined in the On-call Policy; respond to emergencies as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures Manual.
- When applicable, operate company vehicles within state laws and company policies. Responsible for keeping the company vehicle well-kept and safe; report issues in a timely manner to the safety team.
- Report for Snow removal timely to shovel snow and deice assigned properties.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines given by Property Manager.
- Assisting Paint, Service Techs and Grounds with various tasks concerning any and all things at the property level.
- Additional duties as assigned.

Salary : $18 - $21
