Thank you for your interest in our Grounds Tech I position!
Under the direction of the Property Manager, the Grounds Tech I is required to perform various grounds duties in a safe and efficient manner. This position requires a complete knowledge of cleaning, standard principles, methods, practices, techniques, tools, and equipment used in the maintenance/grounds keeping industry. May need to prepare and maintain reports/records and will establish priorities and time management.
Driver's License is required for the position. Some landscaping or custodial experience preferred. General Groundskeeper Duties.

Qualifications

- Perform grounds keeping duties including, but not limited to keeping buildings and grounds clean and orderly, cleaning breezeways, shoveling snow, deicing properties, picking up trash, picking up pet waste, emptying exterior trash cans and pet stations, checking exterior of the buildings for appearance, cleanliness, sanitary conditions, and other grounds duties as directed.
- Perform ice and snow removal including, but not limited to shoveling snow, deicing properties, and any other removal techniques.
- Perform waste removal including, but not limited to picking up trash and pet waste, emptying exterior trash cans and pet stations.
- Perform light landscaping duties including, but not limited to pulling weeds and leaf removal.
- Perform in house custodial duties when needed.
- Prepare and maintain reports and records of the various issues, employee timekeeping, labor hours assigned, and personal forms such as mileage and cost controls.
- Responsible for establishing priorities and time management.
- Responsible for using proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Basic knowledge of Safety Data Sheet for the purpose and safe use of products.
- Use knowledge of the methods, practices, techniques, tools, and equipment used in the maintenance/ground keeping industry to perform job duties.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Salary : $16 - $18
