The Katherine Thomas School is a private special education school that services students with language, learning, and sensory motor disabilities and moderate to high functioning autism. KTS is looking to hire a a full-time, 10-month contract teacher to begin with the 2025-2026 school year. Hours are 8 : 30am - 4 : 15pm. EOE

Responsibilities for the teachers include :
- Develop instruction following the Maryland State Curriculum providing necessary accommodations to meet individual, group, and program needs
- Implement Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
- Write and implement IEPs
- Create a supportive learning environment
- Create partnerships with parents and the KTS community

Annual salary range of $56k up to $100k, depending on experience and level of education
