We are seeking a Principal Occupational Therapist to join the TLC Pediatric Therapy team. As Principal OT, you will collaborate with our care team, patients / families, and TLC senior leadership to deliver high-quality, patient—and family-centered therapeutic care.
ABOUT THE POSITION :
This position works with both TLC Team Members, and interdisciplinary teams of outside professionals including teachers, doctors, audiologists, psychologists, social workers, physical therapists, and speech-language pathologists. In addition, it will also be important for the individual in this position to be insightful, decisive, and confident, and possess effective interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills across all levels of the organization.

Demonstrated knowledge of OT pediatric intervention approaches

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE :
Coaching team members to achieve success within their designated clinical specialty areas
Guiding occupational therapists and senior occupational therapists on complex cases
Providing in-depth coaching and training to parents and caregivers
Leading the development of new clinical approaches
SKILLS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS NEEDED :
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
Commitment to continuous professional development and quality improvement
A Master’s Degree from an accredited school of occupational therapy or proof of equivalency
Five (5) years of experience as an occupational therapist
Must possess a current valid California Occupational Therapist license at the time of hire and maintain it as a condition of continued employment
Possession of a valid California driver's license and proof of auto insurance may be required
Possession of a current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certificate by date of hire. Once obtained, it is a condition of continued employment
