Job Description

TLF Apparel is seeking a highly skilled and strategic-minded individual to join our team as a Social Media Content Creator & Strategist. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of social media platforms. The Social Media Content Creator & Strategist will play a key role in shaping & crafting engaging and visually stunning content to elevate our brand presence across various social channels while developing our brand narrative and creating impactful content strategies and driving engagement across Instagram, Tiktok, Youtube, Pinterest, FB, Twitter, Threads and other various social channels.

As an expert in social media, content production, data analysis, channel optimization, and UGC; you will use your expert knowledge and experience to leverage best practices to continuously improve all social media marketing efforts and growth.

JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE BELOW):

  • Content Development:
  • Conceptualize and create compelling, shareable content for social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Tiktok, Pinterest, Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Threads & LinkedIn.
  • Produce a variety of content types, including images, videos, stories, and other multimedia assets.
  • Strategic Planning & Growth:
  • Work closely with the Social Media Coordinator to align content scheduling with broader brand messaging and marketing objectives.
  • Plan and schedule posts in a manner that maximizes audience engagement and platform algorithms.
  • Highly experienced at developing and implementing a growth strategy per social channel (via organic and paid posts), and delivering on high volume growth week over week for followers, engagement, and reach
  • Creative Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the marketing and I/A teams to align content with overall brand messaging and marketing campaigns.
  • Platform Optimization:
  • Tailor content for specific social media platforms, optimizing for each platform's unique features and audience preferences.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices on social media.
  • Engagement and Interaction:
  • Foster engagement by responding to comments, messages, and mentions on social media platforms.
  • Monitor trends and participate in relevant conversations to enhance community interaction.
  • Consistent Branding:
  • Ensure consistency in brand visuals and messaging across all social media channels.
  • Uphold brand guidelines and contribute to the evolution of the brand's visual identity.
  • Photography and Videography:
  • Capture high-quality photos and videos to be used in social media content.
  • Edit and enhance visual content using relevant software.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
  • Track performance metrics for social media content and provide insights for optimization.
  • Contribute to regular reports on content effectiveness and audience engagement.
  • Community Management:
  • Monitor social media channels for brand mentions, comments, and messages.
  • Engage with the audience in a timely and authentic manner, fostering positive relationships and addressing inquiries.
  • Scheduling and Automation:
  • Utilize social media management tools to schedule and automate posts across multiple platforms.
  • Optimize scheduling based on platform analytics and peak engagement times.
  • Campaign Integration:
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to seamlessly integrate social media posts into broader marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure that campaign-specific content is strategically scheduled for maximum impact.
  • Adherence to Deadlines:
  • Maintain a proactive approach to meet content calendar deadlines, adapting to changes and unforeseen events as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely delivery of assets and information.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS:

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a related field
  • 5 years managing and growing social media channels across all platforms (IG, FB, Pinterest, Tik Tok, YouTube, and Twitter)
  • 3 years of managing all social media channels for a fashion/apparel brand
  • Highly proficient and experienced with apps such as:
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and Google Docs,
  • Social media business platform management and analytics
  • (i.e. Later, Hootsuite, Sprout Social Business / Enterprise or similar software)
  • Hashtag planners
  • Google Analytics
  • Google Trends
  • IG / FB / Pinterest / Tik Tok / Youtube / Twitter / Analytics
  • Content creation and editing apps- (i.e. Capcut, Lightroom, Canva, Adobe Premier, Photoshop)
    • Grin (influencer and content relationship management software or similar software)
    • Asana (project, task management, and calendar planning software)
  • Highly proficient video editing and photo retouching
  • Effective communication skills - both verbal and written in English (other languages are a plus) and content generation for social media post copy, etc,
  • Able to quickly adapt to the brand voice and vision for all related social media and marketing needs
  • Previous experience managing substantial budgets
  • Experience with paid and organic social content formats
  • Passion for the activewear and fitness industry
  • Lover of Pop Culture and always up-to-date on what's trending
  • A creative-minded individual with the ability to conceive, articulate and produce innovative ideas for new content
  • Highly proficient with data analysis and KPI’s
  • High attention to detail and an ability to predict audience behavior and preferences
  • Ability to multitask, work in an extremely busy environment and remain positive and productive.
  • Self-starter; effective in managing projects from the ground up
