Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be able to work effectively on a range of projects. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to perform heavy lifting, as well as a keen eye for detail and craftsmanship.
Duties
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Own basic tools for carpentry
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard.
- Perform trim carpentry, including the installation of moldings and other decorative elements.
- Fabricate custom pieces based on project specifications.
- Execute concrete forming for foundations, slabs, and other structures.
- Install siding, roofing, flooring, and stucco as required by project needs.
- Utilize caulking techniques to ensure weatherproofing and finish quality.
- Engage in metal stud framing for interior walls and partitions.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project completion within deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in construction.
- Familiarity with various carpentry tools and equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for materials and equipment.
- Experience in siding, trim carpentry, concrete forming, roofing, caulking, flooring installation, stucco application, and metal stud framing is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
