As Head of Marketing, you will drive growth through customer acquisition, retention, and brand affinity. You’ll own the marketing P&L, oversee paid media, optimize performance channels, and increase appointment volume and lifetime value. You’ll also lead brand storytelling, partnerships, influencer activations, and localized campaigns to attract and retain customers. This role requires a data-driven, entrepreneurial marketer who balances strategy, execution, and creative storytelling with analytical rigor.
What You'll Do
- Marketing Strategy & Growth:
- Own and optimize performance marketing across paid media, CRM (email/SMS), influencer, referral, and emerging channels.
- Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy that fuels customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.
- Oversee website strategy, conversion rate optimization, and guest booking experience, ensuring every touchpoint is frictionless and compelling.
- Leverage data and analytics to measure marketing effectiveness, refine messaging, and allocate spend efficiently.
- Drive localized marketing initiatives that increase studio traffic, including partnerships, community activations, and referral programs.
- Identify and test new growth levers, from influencer marketing and ambassador programs to earned media and brand collaborations.
- Brand & Creative Leadership:
- Build and maintain a brand that people care about, ensuring the company’s messaging is compelling, consistent, and culturally relevant.
- Develop and execute an always-on content strategy, creating brand excitement through storytelling, social media, and guest experiences.
- Champion the company’s voice, visual identity, and positioning, ensuring all marketing efforts reflect our brand ethos.
- Oversee creative development for campaigns, digital channels, and in-studio marketing materials.
- Marketing Operations & Team Leadership:
- Own the marketing P&L, budget allocation, and forecasting, ensuring resources are deployed for maximum impact.
- Lead a multi-agency team and grow the company’s internal marketing capabilities across performance, brand, and lifecycle marketing.
- Implement marketing automation tools to streamline appointment booking, guest outreach, and retention strategies.
- Align cross-functional teams, including operations, product, and studio leadership, around marketing initiatives that drive studio performance.
- Measurement & Analytics:
- Become the data expert on guest acquisition, retention, and revenue drivers, ensuring marketing efforts are deeply tied to business performance.
- Build marketing dashboards and reporting structures to track KPIs, measure ROI, and inform future strategy.
- Use guest insights and behavioral data to refine customer segmentation, messaging strategies, and lifetime value optimization.
What You Need
- 4-8 years of experience in marketing, business operations, management consulting, or growth strategy.
- At least 1-2 years in performance marketing, including paid media, email, and lifecycle marketing.
- Proven experience managing marketing budgets and P&L performance.
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel, Google Analytics, or other BI tools.
- Experience building and scaling marketing programs at a high-growth startup, consumer brand, or innovative service business.
- Familiarity with brand marketing and organic growth, including content, community, influencer marketing, or experiential activations.
- Bonus if you have:
- Experience in consumer services—healthcare, dental, beauty, wellness, or retail.
- Background in DTC, multi-location businesses, or early-stage startups.
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation and retention strategies.
