What are the responsibilities and job description for the Principal Engineer - Land Development position at TM Associates Inc?
T&M Associates is seeking a motivated and experienced Civil Engineer to join our Land Development team. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of progressively responsible technical and project management experience in Land Development, with a strong understanding of zoning analysis, land planning, land surveying, grading design, drainage design, utility layout, stormwater management, soil erosion and sediment control, flood zone impacts, wetlands, landscape concepts, and local / regional / state regulations. Experience testifying at zoning hearings and public meetings is also required. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement based out of either Philadelphia or King of Prussia, combining remote work with in-office collaboration.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise and mentor a team of 2-3 technical staff, guiding them in site development project design and delivery.
- Collaborate with the Group Manager, Department Manager, and other stakeholders to manage technical aspects of site development projects.
- Oversee project management responsibilities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, while managing invoicing, proposals, and other administrative tasks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both private and public clients, ensuring high client satisfaction and fostering new business opportunities.
