What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervising Civil Engineer position at TM Associates Inc?
T&M Associates is currently seeking a highly motivated Supervising Engineer for our Municipal department based out of our Middletown, NJ office. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote work with in-office collaboration. This person will be responsible for technical management by providing expertise on complex design projects; people management through supervision of municipal staff engineers; and client management by building strong relationships with municipal clients and ensuring satisfaction on client needs. Must attend Municipal Night Meetings.
Qualifications
- B.S in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 10 years of experience in Municipal Engineering, including project management of design and construction projects.
- Experience as appointed Municipal Engineer of Record and / or Land Use Board Engineer a plus.
- Experience in the design of transportation planning and infrastructure, traffic and roadway projects.
- Must have Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D a plus.
- Experience in reviewing applications for Land Use Boards with availability for Municipal (Land Use Board, Council and / or Committee) night meetings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment, self-starter, demonstrated organization skills, team player and willingness to learn.
