What are the responsibilities and job description for the z/OS Programmer (Onsite) position at TM Floyd & Company (TMF)?
We are currently seeking a z/OS Programmer to join our team in Columbia, SC. This position offers a 50% remote work arrangement (will be onsite 3 days a week and as needed/some weekends are required).
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Mainframe z/OS, including updating JCL and monitoring system logs via SDSF
- Prepare for disaster recovery exercises, including attending several weekly meetings
- Execute recovery of the z/OS and other applications as outlined in the runbook
- Manage hardware/software support licenses, including submitting purchase requisitions
Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain a low-level U.S. security clearance, which requires a thorough background screening and U.S. citizenship
- 6 years of IT work experience, including varied systems programming experience
- Experience with:
- z/OS
- JCL
- SDSF
- Dataset management
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or other job-related field
The hourly rate for this position is $49.12. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications.
