Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator with experience in setting up and operating metal stamping machines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently running metal stamping equipment to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. The Machine Operator will also be involved in the setup, adjustment, and maintenance of the machines to ensure optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate metal stamping machines to produce parts as per technical drawings and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Monitor production processes to maintain quality standards and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Adjust machine settings such as speed, pressure, and alignment to achieve desired results.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and make any necessary adjustments.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with stamping machines or similar equipment
- Basic knowledge of machine operations and maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
