Qualifications
Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, this position is responsible for assisting with planning, organizing, and directing patient care services in accordance with department and administrative policies.
Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:
- Current Texas nursing license or compact license
- Master's in Nursing or related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of leadership (director level management) experience in a high volume acute care hospital facility
- Experience in a variety of healthcare organization departments
- AHA BLS and ACLS required at hire
- Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Must possess critical thinking skills, sound decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
- Must be service excellence focused
- Ability to communicate clearly defined expectations
- Excellent computer skills in a variety of healthcare-related computer programs and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent conflict resolution skills as well as project management skills
