Summary :

We are seeking a Methods Agent / Engineer to join our aerospace manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and overseeing manufacturing processes to ensure the efficient production of high-quality aerospace components and systems. This role requires a strong background in manufacturing engineering, process planning, and continuous improvement within the aerospace industry.

Your challenges ?

The role involves the following tasks and responsibilities :

  • Adheres to General Work Requirements ;
  • Assists with analyzing feasibility according to optimal methods by assessing the costs, impacts and risks of a change in production ;
  • Assists with drafting the necessary working and repair documents ;
  • Learns to analyze and estimate PCR (Program Change Request) ;
  • Assists with analyzing equipment and workstation production capacity, as well as creating task sequency and capacity analysis ;
  • Assists with analyzing requirements and initiates productions tool purchase orders, including ECAAR (Emergency Capital Acquisition Authorization) ;
  • Assists Methods Planners with tool designs ;
  • Directs Methods Planners in the preparation and revision of manufacturing documents such as MIWOs, LOGs, TWOs, Set-Up Documents (Mfg Work Orders, Work Instructions (LOGs) and Tooling Work Orders).

What do we expect from you ?

The minimum required skills necessary for this role :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Engineering, Business or related field. Completed, relevant education from an accredited college or university may be substituted with years of relevant work experience. 1 year of education = 2 years of experience ;
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Methods, Material Planning, composite paneling or related area ;
  • You have basic knowledge of SAP, ACAD, Catia V4 / V5 ;
  • You have basic knowledge of Project Management principles ;
  • You have the ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings and specifications ;
  • You have manufacturing background (preferred) ;
  • You have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering (preferred).
