What are the responsibilities and job description for the Methods Engineer position at TMC Canada?
Summary :
We are seeking a Methods Agent / Engineer to join our aerospace manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and overseeing manufacturing processes to ensure the efficient production of high-quality aerospace components and systems. This role requires a strong background in manufacturing engineering, process planning, and continuous improvement within the aerospace industry.
Your challenges ?
The role involves the following tasks and responsibilities :
- Adheres to General Work Requirements ;
- Assists with analyzing feasibility according to optimal methods by assessing the costs, impacts and risks of a change in production ;
- Assists with drafting the necessary working and repair documents ;
- Learns to analyze and estimate PCR (Program Change Request) ;
- Assists with analyzing equipment and workstation production capacity, as well as creating task sequency and capacity analysis ;
- Assists with analyzing requirements and initiates productions tool purchase orders, including ECAAR (Emergency Capital Acquisition Authorization) ;
- Assists Methods Planners with tool designs ;
- Directs Methods Planners in the preparation and revision of manufacturing documents such as MIWOs, LOGs, TWOs, Set-Up Documents (Mfg Work Orders, Work Instructions (LOGs) and Tooling Work Orders).
