We are seeking a skilled Grader to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating graders and other heavy machinery on construction sites. Responsibilities
- Operate graders to create smooth, level surfaces for roads, parking lots, and other construction projects.
- Utilize loaders, backhoes, and bulldozers as needed to assist in grading and site preparation.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to execute project plans effectively and efficiently.
- Follow all safety protocols while working on construction sites to minimize risks and hazards.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any issues or concerns to supervisors.
Requirements
- Proven experience in grader operation; familiarity with Caterpillar equipment is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with machinery.
- Ability to operate loaders, backhoes, and bulldozers as needed for various tasks.
- Experience working on construction sites with a strong understanding of safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- A valid commercial driving license is preferred but not required.
