As a Part-Time Sales Associate at TMC Marketing, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new clients, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and promoting TMC Marketing’s suite of digital marketing services. This role is ideal for self-motivated individuals who are looking for a flexible, commission-based sales opportunity with uncapped earning potential. The role will involve a mix of remote work and client visits, with a focus on achieving measurable sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition: Identify and engage potential clients in need of TMC Marketing’s digital services, including social media marketing, SEO, website design, and video production.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to generate leads, present solutions, and close deals. This includes conducting sales pitches and preparing proposals tailored to each client’s needs.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure satisfaction with TMC’s services and encourage repeat business or referrals.
- Sales Calls: Make 25 sales calls per day between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, to introduce TMC Marketing’s services and set up meetings for further discussions.
- Sales Emails: Send 15 sales emails per day to prospective clients as part of lead generation efforts.
- Client Meetings: Schedule and conduct client meetings (phone, video, or in-person) to present TMC’s offerings, negotiate terms, and close deals.
- Proposal Preparation: Work with the internal team to prepare proposals and contracts that meet the specific needs of potential clients.
- Market Research: Keep up with trends in digital marketing and competitor offerings to better position TMC Marketing’s services during sales discussions.
Qualifications
- Sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Previous experience in B2B sales or marketing preferred.
- Knowledge of digital marketing services, including social media, SEO, and paid advertising, is preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and remotely, managing your own schedule and meeting goals without direct supervision.
- Customer-centric mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
Compensation and BenefitsCommission-Based Compensation:
This is a commission-based role, with uncapped earning potential based on performance. The compensation structure is as follows:
- Ramp-Up Period (First three months of employment):
- 30% commission on the first month’s invoice for new clients.
- 15% commission on the second month’s invoice for new clients.
- Post Ramp-Up Period:
- 20% commission on the first month’s invoice for any new clients brought to TMC Marketing.
- One-Time Charge Services (Website Design, Video Production, etc.):For one-time charge services like website design or video production, the Employee will earn a 10% commission on the total invoice amount, regardless of the ramp-up period.
- Bonus Structure:
- A $250 bonus for signing one new client within the first 30 days.
- A $500 bonus for signing three new clients within the first 30 days.
Hours and Activity Expectations:
- Flexible Hours: This part-time role allows flexibility in working hours, but the Employee is expected to meet specific activity levels:
- 25 sales calls per day and 15 sales emails per day conducted between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
These activity expectations are subject to adjustment based on conversion rates and overall performance, as determined by TMC Marketing.
Work Environment
This role is primarily remote, with some client visits required depending on the needs of the business. The Sales Associate will report to the CEO and collaborate with the internal marketing and content teams to ensure successful client acquisition and strategy alignment.
