Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Security Architect to lead our cybersecurity initiatives and design/implement cyber tools/solutions. This role will be responsible for leading all program Cyber initiatives, including analysis of alternatives, platform upgrades, enhancement requests, defect resolution, and project coordination.
About the Role: The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of enterprise cybersecurity capabilities and various cybersecurity tools and supporting software and hardware. They will be responsible for researching new technical trends, products, and services that offer opportunities to improve security efficiency and effectiveness.
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for research of new technical trends, products, and services
- Work with business stakeholders, engineers, and system administrators to ensure goals are met
- Provide management, leadership, and direction to program engineering team leads and individual contributors
- Act as a subject matter expert for all Cyber Security projects
- Work with internal and external partners to ensure current and future service level requirements are identified, understood, and documented in SLA documents
- Produce and maintain security architecture documents establishing the operational, system, and technical views of the security architecture
- Create Standard Operating Procedures and decision analysis documentation
- Coordinate application and platform upgrades
- Produce reports and dashboards based on defined measures, metrics, and key performance indicators
Requirements:
- US Citizenship and active Top Secret clearance required
- Masters degree with 15 years of experience related to IT and/or cyber security
- Experience managing the implementation and operation of security architecture and tools (5 years)
- Experience working in project management roles (5 years)
- Experience with IT modernization (5 years)
- Understanding of key cyber security tools to ensure they are consistently deployed, executed, and continuously improved
- Experience leading complex security infrastructure consolidation and modernization efforts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Active CISSP certification preferred
