TMC Technologies is searching for a Logistician to join our team supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division (Indiana). This is a full-time on site position. The work location is in Bedford, IN. This is considered to be a temporary position (until 9 / 30 / 2025) with the potential to become permanent. The staring base salary for this role is $55,000 per year. Tasking : Coordinate transportation of equipment shipments in a team environment Research parts for procurement using drawings, assembly instructions, and excel documents to find the best price and lead time available for products for government systems Support receiving, scheduling required maintenance, monitoring the maintenance and return of assets to the appropriate activity using current shipping standards, Form DD1149, and Form DD1348 Job Requirements Must be a US citizen - Secret clearance is not required to start but the Logistician will need to obtain one High school diploma and 2 years of relevant experience OR a Bachelor's degree in related field and 0 years of relevant experience Experience with researching parts for procurement using drawings, assembly instructions, and excel documents to find the best price and lead time available for products for government systems Experience with Excel spreadsheets and inventory tracking Strong oral and written communications skills Familiarity with PC Microsoft 365 applications Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs We are equal opportunity / affirmative action employers, committed to diversity in the workplace.
