Trailer Yard & Delivery Operator (CDL Required)

About the Role

TMC Trailers is seeking a motivated and skilled Trailer Yard & Delivery Operator to join our growing team! This is a key position responsible for stacking and moving trailers using HEAVY EQUIPMENT on-site, as well as occasionally delivering trailers to customer locations using a company truck.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment (e.g., forklifts, lulls,  loaders) to stack and organize trailers in the yard.

• Load and unload trailers with precision to prevent damage and ensure secure handling.

• Perform occasional local and regional trailer deliveries using a CDL-classified truck.

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and delivery vehicles.

• Maintain a clean and organized yard, following all safety guidelines and protocols.

• Communicate with dispatch and yard supervisors to ensure timely movement and delivery of trailers.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) required.

• Experience operating heavy equipment (training can be provided for the right candidate).

• Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening.

• Strong attention to safety, organization, and detail.

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
