TMC Transportation has an immediate full-time opening for a Securement Equipment Coordinator working out of our shop in Columbia, South Carolina.
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The primary function of a Securement Equipment Coordinator is to maintain all load securement equipment and make sure that it is in good working condition and ready to go at all times.
SHIFT: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm with possible overtime.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Account and track all Load Securement items such as: tarps, straps, chains, binders, etc.
· Light use of Excell to enter and pull inventory off of web-based program.
· Pre-stock all truck and trailers that are available for the new releases
· Keep the shop area clean and up to TMC standards at all times
· Will need to be able to use and/or learn light use of forklift
· Patch and repair tarps
· Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
· High School diploma preferred
· Must have a valid Driver’s License
· Must be able to follow detailed instructions
· Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment
· Familiarity with Microsoft Excel
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
· Must be able to stand and bend for extended periods
· Must be quality-driven
· Must be able to lift 100 lb tarps.
