Overview
Our company is looking for an experienced, compassionate and motivated individual to fill the role of Charge Nurse. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in a long-term care facility and will be able to demonstrate a desire to provide exceptional patient care to residents with complex medical issues and/or personal needs. The Charge Nurse will be responsible for overseeing the care of our residents, including hiring and training new staff, delegating tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that patients are provided with the highest level of care from a team of professional staff.
- Ensure patients are clean, comfortable, and well fed.
- Assess and monitor patient's needs and progress on a regular basis.
- Communicate with other members of the health care team to ensure that all patients receive quality care.
- Routinely assess the nursing home for safety and cleanliness.
- Maintain a sense of morale among staff members.
- Be available to family members and other visitors for help and guidance.
