TMD Staffing in Kyle, TX is seeking an experienced Machinery Maintenance Technician for a food manufacturer in Kyle, TX. This position has potential of transitioning to a permanent job. Reliability, Dependability and Strong Work Ethics are a must!
The maintenance technician is directly responsible for the repair and maintenance for all of the plant equipment, production machinery and infrastructure of the food manufacturing. The perfect candidate will be able to act on unscheduled / emergency repairs within the plant's hours of production in addition to perform the scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during time of operation. Must be flexible on end times to fit to production schedule. We encourage resumes to be submitted as well as licenses or certifications. This job is interview and resume based.
SCHEDULE : MONDAY - FRIDAY, SOME SATURDAY'S AND MUST BE AVAILABLE ON DOWN TIME AND OFF DAYS
SHIFT : 6 : 00 am to 6 : 00 pm
PAY : $20 TO $24 per hour (Depending on Experience)
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Maintain all plant equipment to original manufacturer specifications.
- Organize shop and ascertain that spare parts are in stock and achieve a neat and organized working environment
- Perform mechanical repairs on production equipment and facility structure
- Formalize an equipment start-up list to make sure that the plant starts up on time
- Read and interpret manuals and work orders and be able to fulfill work orders
- Diagnose problems, Repair and Remove parts, test and make necessary adjustments
- Perform Preventive maintenance on machines and equipment and plant facilities
- Plan and coordinate maintenance activities to make sure that little or no downtime is experienced
- Be able to comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean work area
