Job Purpose

Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and complete AEOI reporting across multiple jurisdictions, within territorial deadlines.
- Accountable for review and approval of AEOI returns in conjunction with AEOI Team
- Ensure AEOI Training delivered internally as required.
- Ensure proper records maintained for AEOI reporting, including Self-Certification Forms, Annual Checklists, DDQs and Classification Review Forms.
- Ensure Classification Review Process in place (minimum annual or as need arises due to changes)
- Works with the AEOI Compliance Director and AEOI Team to ensure that internal controls are implemented, and policies and processes are put in place, consistent, and adhered to
- Acts as the focal point for internal and external stakeholders / TMF Client Managers on daily operational escalations and issues
- Works closely with management to set expectations and communicates expectations to internal stakeholders and AEOI Team
- Supports the AEOI Compliance Director and Team ensuring the professional relationships and effective liaison of all team members with internal clients, TMF Local Offices, Agencies and external advisers as required.
- Involved in system improvements, testing & coordination with Opex on system changes, upgrade, enhancements and IT issue log. Provides support and supervision during the roll-out of relevant tax technology in the team within agreed deadlines.
- Accountable for ensuring all necessary procedures associated with compliance processes and controls are maintained, has a comprehensive technical and functional understanding of all AEOI compliance service delivery processes; continuously improving processes based on past experience.
- Responsible for creating a high-performance team by focusing on team development, satisfying work experiences and accountability for team results and performance and ultimately retention.
- Manages the development and workload of direct reporting compliance team staff.
- Provides supervision, training and guidance to wider AEOI team members on specific tasks; identifies the need for specific technical trainings and arranges such trainings. Ensures that all team members undertake required training.
- Monitors staff performance and provides necessary coaching & mentoring.
- Up to date CPD
- Demonstrate a good knowledge of AEOI Rules, with ability to adapt to new information as required
- 6-8 years’ experience in a similar role
- 2- 4 years of direct people management experience
- Degree holder in finance, accountancy or business-related disciplines preferable
- Relevant qualifications are desirable (STEP, ISCA).
- Resourceful, independent and strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong ability to plan ahead and organise.
- Analytical, structured mind set with ability to follow and build upon existing processes and ensure data is maintained with accuracy and consistency.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook is essential, along with experience of local accounting systems.
- Support AEOI clients in remaining fully compliant with relevant local tax legislation.
- Accountable for maintaining Last Twelve Months (LTM) attrition levels below 20% for employees within their span of control.
- Support process enhancement and continuous process improvements, utilising systems as required.
- 100% timely and accurate time writing for own time and validation and signoff for employees within span of control.
- Accountable for 100% Data Entry completeness and accuracy within the relevant reporting systems
- Accountable for 100% Compliance to Tax Reporting Deadlines
- 100% Adherence to ISO27001 Data/information Security protocols
