Description : Job Summary :
As a commercial coordinator, you coordinate for the commercial and sales teams and facilitate communication between sales representatives. You will assist in maintaining positive customer relations. In a coordinator position, it is also your job to help customers and assist sales managers. The coordinator needs to be friendly, highly organized, and communicate very well. An experienced and well-organized Coordinator provides the necessary support to the field sales team. You will become the point of reference for colleagues and customers alike, by providing feedback, documentation, and information. The goal is to facilitate the team’s activities to maximize their performance and the solid and long-lasting development of the company.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Duties / Responsibilities :
Coordinating the commercial and sales team by managing quotes, filing important documents, forecasting, analysis, and communicating relevant information.
Coordinate with the Sales force from a strategy execution standpoint to maximize our profit from the time and resources we deploy.
Ensuring the adequacy of pricing.
Create marketing materials used by the sales team and company.
Coordinate, schedule, and facilitate sales events for the sales team.
Store and sort financial and non-financial data in electronic form and present reports
Handle the processing of quotes with accuracy and timeliness.
Inform clients and team of unforeseen delays or problems.
Monitor the team’s progress, identify shortcomings, and propose improvements.
Assist in the preparation and organizing of promotional material or events.
Ensure adherence to laws and policies.
Forecast and analysis of data for the commercial department.
Arrange for creation and distribution of presentations and supporting documents to help sales team generate business leads.
Attending essential sales training meetings and develop an understanding of all the company's services and products.
Collaborate with senior sales staff in weekly meetings by creating and maintaining month-end reports.
Qualification Requirements
Education and Experience :
High School Diploma. Associates or a BA degree in business with applicable experience preferred.
At least 3-5 years of experience in sales or as a sales coordinator in the oil & gas industry.
Proven experience in sales or inside sales; experience as a sales coordinator or in other administrative positions will be considered a plus.
Experience in Sales marketing.
Experience coordinating sales team events.
Strong work ethic and are eager to learn and make new sales with customers, including add-on services.
Good computer skills (MS Office)
Proficiency in English
Experience with quotes, forecasting, and pricing.
Experience with analysis.
Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A team player with a high level of dedication.
Attends trade shows, business events, and community fairs and staffs the company booth.
Physical Requirements :
Must be able to travel.
Periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
