This hybrid role will consist of Help Desk and Technical Field Desktop Support functions. The goal of this role is to effectively support the company’s complex computing infrastructure and automated business solutions by maintaining high availability and productivity of related equipment and systems, blending user interaction with technology services to maintain a competitive market advantage for the companies and multiple divisions and their employees. Must have MS 365 administration, active Directory, Wifi networking, and Wireless Networking in the field and via a help desk support experience.
This role will support our companies’ employees and their use of desktop technologies, maintaining high availability and productivity through personal computers, hardware, software, and other required IT assets. You will also function as an intermediary with our intercompany Technology Resources and Client requirements on essential client facing technology. Strong interpersonal and telephone skills will be required to troubleshoot and resolve difficult problems related to PC hardware, software, and peripherals from both internal and external customers. The job requires a good understanding of the Windows operating system, PC peripherals, LAN/WAN, and the ability to perform basic Microsoft Server and Microsoft 365 administrative tasks, including creating users, modifying group memberships, and assigning rights. Strong understanding of SharePoint and One Drive are desirable.

- Work within a ticketing system to document the resolution of reported IT issues.
- Provide telephone and onsite support for problem resolution relating to both technology and software applications, as well as the Site Operational and Security, Radio, Wi-Fi, Telecommunication Equipment i.e. Cell Phones, Camera systems and Egress systems.
- May interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct network and technology problems.
- Server duties related to server OS (Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019).
- Simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating issues.
- Provide user training and support for developed applications.
- Recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems.
- Analyze information flow and reporting needs, working with clerical staff and management.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
- Setup and support VOIP phones as needed.
- Manage active directory.
- Located in Midland, TX and supporting other locations in the area as assigned.
- Assist with integration of data where appropriate into all company systems.
- Provides after-hour support required of our business environment.

Education & Experience Substitution:
- 3-5 years of progressive work experience (typically in Computer Technology) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Computer Technology Support Technician.
- Information Technology associate degree and equivalent experience in an IT support role – 3 years of IT Desktop Support or Information Technology support experience.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license.
- MS Office 365 and MS 365 administration.
