Key Responsibilities
- Assist and follow directions from the Controller and/or SF Accounting Manager.
- Maintain a portfolio of assigned properties, supporting their financial health and compliance.
- Onboard new accounts and assist in transitioning closing accounts.
- Support Property Accountants in completing and distributing monthly financial statements.
- Reconcile multi-client bank accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Review tenant move-outs to ensure compliance with legal regulations.
- Generate and distribute move-out refunds, invoices, and correspondence in a timely manner.
- Conduct property audits as directed to maintain financial and operational compliance.
- Assist in preparing and supporting the annual budget process.
- Assemble, review, and verify invoices and check requests for approval.
- Prepare and process electronic payments and accounts payable checks.
- Monitor vendor accounts to ensure payments are current and accurate.
- Assist in preparing, mailing, and filing 1099 annual reports to meet reporting deadlines.
