HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
Job Summary :
- Entry-level certified cardiovascular technologist.
- Utilizes basic skills in analytical / scientific methods or operational processes.
- Works under close supervision within clearly defined standard operating procedures (SOP) and / or scientific methods; adheres to quality guidelines.
- Assists in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
- Perform independently on ST-elevation myocardial infarctions (STEMI) calls (“codes STEMI”).
- Scrubs, circulates, and monitors procedures (., left heart catheterizations (LHC), right heart catheterizations (RHC), percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), STEMI, fractional flow reserve / instantaneous wave-free ratios (FFR / iFR), intravascular ultrasounds (IVUS), and Impella balloon pumps).
- Provides the highest-quality patient care and safety during patients’ stays in the Heart Catherization Laboratory.
- Implements Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare’s (TMH), Nursing Services’ and the Heart Catherization Laboratory Laboratory’s philosophies, goals, policies, and procedures.
