WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY
Required Education :
Minimum : High School Diploma or equivalent; at least 18 years of age. Passed monitor examination within six (6) months post-hire.
Required Experience :
Six (6) months of Emergency Care Technician I (JC : 770105) experience (or equivalent) in an emergency department setting. Human Resources (HR) may accept Florida EMT licensure in lieu of the required experience.
Required Certification / License / Registry :
Minimum : Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
Prefered Certification / License / Registry : Licensed as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in accordance with Florida Statutes, Title XXIX (Public Health), Chapter 401 (Medical Telecommunications and Transportation), Part III (Medical Transportation Services).
