Overview
Our Team at TMJ & Sleep Solutions of Alabama located in Homewood AL is looking to grow our family! Our newest team member will be someone energetic, who enjoys working as a team, and providing quality and compassionate care to every patient. The new team member will be responsible for assisting patients when they arrive for their appointments, collecting appropriate documentation, answering phones, scheduling patients, assist in marketing and relationships with our referring practitioners, and assist in working with our digital marketing firm to promote our practice.
Responsibilities
- Communicating with patients about their status and condition
- Entering new patient information and updating patient charges as appropriate
- Contacting patients to confirm their appointments
- Maintaining accurate schedules and notes in our scheduling system with timely and direct communication regarding scheduling changes
- Managing patient accounts with contact information, insurance, and financial information in a confidential manner
- Aid in the marketing of our practice
Ideal Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of dental/medical experience
- Knowledge and ability to discuss financial arrangements with patients/families
- The ability to manage difficult conversations with empathy and active listening skills
- High proficiency with comfort with using various technology and systems
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
This position will work the following hours: Monday-Thursday from 7:30 am -4:30 pm with a 30-60 minute lunch; we are closed on Fridays from seeing patients but a few hours of work at home on Friday will be required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
