Overview:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Traveling Construction Superintendent at TMS Construction. The Superintendent will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of projects from start to finish, with a focus on maintaining safety standards, managing budgets, and ensuring that all project activities are completed on time and within scope.
Responsibilities:
· Supervise & Coordinate: Oversee the daily activities of field employees, subcontractors, and material vendors to keep projects on schedule while ensuring adherence to safety, cleanliness, and quality standards.
· Leadership & Morale: Lead by example to maintain high crew morale and positive attitudes throughout the duration of the project.
· Project Documentation: Maintain accurate daily reports, including progress updates, photos, payroll, equipment usage, field reports, schedule changes, and email correspondence to keep all stakeholders informed.
· Project Understanding: Read and interpret project documents, such as drawings, specifications, RFI’s, submittals, subcontracts, and owner agreements to ensure all work is executed as per the agreed plans.
· Schedule & Cost Control: Proactively anticipate and address potential delays or cost overruns by managing project schedules and controlling costs.
· Stakeholder Interaction: Serve as the main point of contact for project inspectors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, city officials, and clients.
· Punch List & Project Completion: Manage the punch process to ensure timely project completion and the resolution of any outstanding issues.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar leadership role in the construction industry for 5 years (Preferred)
Walmart construction and fuel certification (Preferred)
Movie theatre experience (Preferred)
Ability and willingness to travel and work on-site at various project locations across the country
Proficient in understanding and managing project scheduling and cost control
OSHA certification or other relevant safety training preferred.

Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
