What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Operator position at TMS International?
TMS International, is currently looking for a CAT Loader Operator who is able to work various shifts. The successful candidate will have a commitment to safety and customer service with the ability to perform the essential functions of the job. Current duties and skills include but are not limited to:
- Reliable attendance required
- Experience in operating a CAT 980M or larger loader
- Ability to dig hot pits
- Conduct regular maintenance on equipment before and after use
- Ensure equipment is safe and prepared for daily use
- Communicate any unsafe findings or equipment damage immediately to appropriate person.
- Ability to work independently
- Maintain accurate and organized records as required
- Excellent reading and writing skills
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Valid Driver's License
