Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Greaser to join our team at our Braddock, PA facility. As a Greaser, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment by performing routine lubrication and maintenance tasks. You will work closely with our maintenance and operations teams to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency in the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply lubricants to machines, conveyors, and equipment to prevent friction and ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect and monitor equipment for signs of wear, leaks, or malfunction.
• Clean and replace parts as necessary, including greasing and oiling moving components.
• Maintain lubrication schedules and logs, ensuring that all equipment is properly lubricated per manufacturer guidelines.
• Assist with basic maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Monitor oil levels, replace filters, and refill fluid reservoirs.
• Ensure safety standards are followed, using proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and following safety protocols.
• Communicate with supervisors and other team members to report any issues or irregularities in machinery or operations.
• Perform routine inspections and clean work areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior experience in an industrial environment, particularly in maintenance or lubrication, is preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow technical manuals and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize issues before they become major problems.
• Physical stamina and strength, as the role requires lifting and physical labor.
• Familiarity with various types of lubricants, grease, oils, and their proper applications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy, and physically demanding environment.
