The Production Artist’s primary focus area is to support the North American (and at times Global) Studio with producing artwork files for a variety of deliverables: packaging, POP, retail, omni-channel, etc. As a Production Artist, it often means you will be the last person to see artwork before it goes out the door. The ideal candidate must be highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
The ideal candidate should already have a knack for design and visual detail. They should possess a strong understanding of typography, layout, composition and color.

Responsibilities
- Client service mindset and fantastic interpersonal skills with internal/external Teams and Partners
- Collaborates closely with other Studio Team members, Account, Production, Creative
- Create production-ready artwork files using Adobe softwares: Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign (Sketch, Abstract, Zeppelin experience a plus)
- Properly organizing files and following Studio standards for: file structure, naming conventions, layers, color, etc.
- Applying creative artwork to vendor templates and at times, creating new templates for final delivery channels
- Packaging and releasing final artwork to media partners and properly backing-up files on DAM
- Participates in all applicable Studio status meeting and always strives for continuous improvement opportunities
- 1 – 3 year’s experience in Production Artist role, or similar position
- Proficient with Microsoft apps (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Adobe Creative Suite softwares (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Knowledge of templates, bleed, live, crops and optimizing for print processes
- Clipping/outlining images and compositing layouts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, client service mindset
- Collaborative by nature and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task multiple projects, prioritize appropriately and problem solve
- Highly organized and meticulous attention to detail
