Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and resultsdriven Technical Program Manager to lead the development and delivery of our Enterprise SaaS applications focused on Transportation and Logistics Management Systems (TMS) . This role requires a blend of strong technical expertise extensive program management experience and a deep understanding of SaaS SDLC . You will oversee the planning execution and smooth deployment of software product releases while ensuring alignment with PMO processes business priorities customer needs and organizational goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Program Management and Delivery :
Manage all aspects of a software product development program of $5M. Direct the activities of two Project Managers charged with executing subprojects under the program
Lead the endtoend planning and execution of complex technology projects within the SDLC ensuring timely and costeffective delivery of highquality features and solutionsDrive alignment of roadmaps while assessing communicating and mitigating risks and dependencies across delivery streams and portfoliosUnder the general direction of the Project Management Office create manage and complete a crossfunctional program plan composed of sub projects all to be successfully executed within costs timelines and quality by internal resources and thirdparty development resourcesTeam Leadership :Coordinate with product management release IT marketing sales and support teams to create a seamless transition from project initiation to implementation and support including defining and controlling program and project scope and objectives
Manage multiple onshore and offshore Agile development teams fostering a culture of collaboration and accountabilityEstablishes and build strong working relationships with senior leadership stakeholders and resource teams to ensure the successful delivery of Intellitrans products using a wideranging experience professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective waysMetrics and Reporting :Able to demonstrate the progress of the roadmap program and projects and effective use of resources through Earned Value and key delivery gates
Use consistent metrics to assess risks inform prioritization and support decisionmaking processesProvides regular status reports dashboards and a regular cadence of meetings to stakeholders and resource teamsQualifications :
Experience :8 years of handson experience managing complex technology projects with multiple development teams on programs of $5M or above
Strong technical background preferably with prior experience in software engineering DevOps or IT project management5 years experience and deep understanding of the SDLC Scrum methodologies and scaled Agile practicesHighly organized with advanced problemsolving skills expertise w / Excel MS Office and Smartsheet (including advanced reports and dashboards in Smartsheet)Advanced abilities at PowerPoint presentations for senior leadershipExpertise at modeling project costs capacity hours consumed budget and Project P / L (using Earned Value Concepts)Expertise at controlling overall program management in Jira MS Teams and SmartsheetLeadership Skills :Experience managing onshoreoffshore delivery models in an SAFe Agile environment
Demonstrated ability to drive governance manage dependencies and optimize organizational deliveryExceptional communication skills to interact effectively with project sponsors technical project managers and crossfunctional teams including writing speaking presenting and listening skillsStrong coaching skills to enable senior leadership and resource teams to resolve issues and align program performance with organizational goalsEducation :Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a bachelors degree; or 6 years and a masters degree; or equivalent experience as a Program Lead on Technology based portfolios
PMI PMP or SAFe Certification or equivalent Project Management CertificationPreferred Experience :Direct experience with managing freight movement intermodal transport or Supply Chain Logistics in addition to experience in software architecture system integrations and cloudbased applications within an enterprise SaaS solution
