Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality medical imaging procedures, including CT scans, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Working within a Level I or Level II Trauma Center, the CT Technologist will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic evaluations and patient care.

**Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Sciences required
**ARRT, CT certification required
**BLS required
**1.5 years experience required
- Perform CT scans and other medical imaging procedures with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
- Ensure proper positioning of patients to obtain optimal images while minimizing discomfort.
- Maintain equipment functionality by performing routine checks and reporting any malfunctions.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to discuss imaging results and assist in diagnostic evaluations.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology.
Skills
- Proficient in various imaging modalities, including CT, X-Ray, PET scan, and mammography.
- Strong understanding of diagnostic radiology principles and practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, particularly within urgent care settings.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare team members effectively.
- Attention to detail for accurate image acquisition and patient safety compliance.
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes related to trauma care is highly desirable.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
