Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
- Current North Carolina teaching license / Business and Finance (CTE) teaching license or be in the process of obtaining
- Have the capacity to teach Economics and Personal Finance (Social Studies) classes.
- Have the capacity to teach various Business and Finance Classrooms, such as BB402X0- Business Management I and BF105X0- Business Essentials Honors. BF215X0- Financial Planning I Honors, BL135X0- Business Applications Honors
Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities:
- Knows and understands the NC State Standard Course of Study to develop proficient and effective lesson plans for grade levels and subject areas.
- Establishes a safe and orderly environment and a culture to empower students
- Manage various classroom behaviors and try to minimize disruptions to learning.
- Participate in the MTSS process and procedures at TMSA to provide equitable and valuable education for all students.
- Demonstrate leadership behaviors from the Leader In Me program that TMSA implements schoolwide.
- Works collaboratively with school personnel to create a professional learning community
- Develops goals and strategies through the school improvement plan
- Open to constructive feedback from lead teachers, coaches, and administrators
- Ability to differentiate instruction according to student's needs
- Collaborates with colleagues to mentor and support teachers to improve the effectiveness of department or grade level
- Appreciates differences and values contributions of each student by building positive, appropriate relationships
- Regularly assess students, both formative and summative.
- Demonstrate technology/instructional media competency to enhance learning
- Work with parents and guardians to promote positive behavioral support and a respectful yet nurturing learning environment
- Other duties assigned by the Principal
Salary : $53,800 - $63,800
