What are the responsibilities and job description for the Import Export Specialist position at TMT USA Inc.?
TMT USA Inc. is a family-owned freight forwarder known for its tailor-made projects and seamless customer service. Seeking an import & export specialist at its Corporate Headquarter in Houston, TX.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee activities relating to imports and exports associated with all modes of international shipping.
- Coordinate and book import & export shipments.
- Prepare required documentation including but not limited to MBL, HBL, certificates of origin, etc.
- Review and maintain complete files for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate the processing of documents with our in-house U.S. Customs Brokers.
- Prioritize projects and multi-task within restricted time constraints.
- Maintain, service and develop relationships with customers and other agents/partners.
- Assisting with new client implementation.
QUALIFICATIONS
A successful candidate for this position will have a Bachelor’s Degree plus two (2) years experience in supply chain, import/exports and transportation. Candidate must possess high integrity along with excellent communication and people skills. Must be able to multi-task and establish priorities and be excellent at working with a team.
This position is full time and salary based on level of experience.
