About the Role

We re looking for a detail-oriented and technically strong ETL Tester to join our team onsite in Reston, VA. This role is ideal for someone who s passionate about data validation, automation, and has solid hands-on experience in SQL, Python, and AWS environments. If you're ready to dive deep into data pipelines and ensure accuracy at scale, we'd love to talk!

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ETL testing to validate data movement, transformation, and storage

• Write and execute advanced SQL queries for data comparison, validation, and integrity checks

• Automate testing frameworks using Python or similar scripting languages (Ruby, Java, Cucumber, etc.)

• Execute and manage jobs via UNIX, Autosys, and shell scripting

• Work across dimensional models, 3NF, surrogate keys, fact loads, joins, and data warehouse schemas

• Collaborate with development and data teams to ensure data quality and process accuracy

• Troubleshoot data issues and suggest solutions for optimization

What You Bring

• Strong hands-on experience in ETL Testing

• Excellent command over SQL and UNIX scripting

• Automation experience using Python or other test automation tools

• Working knowledge of AWS data services and cloud-based data pipelines

• Familiarity with job schedulers like Autosys

• Knowledge of data modeling concepts including 3NF and dimensional models

• Clear communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative environment

Nice to Have

• Exposure to cloud automation frameworks

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

• Familiarity with tools like Cucumber, Selenium, or Postman
