Description
A Dairy Queen cake decorator prepares and decorates cakes for the customers, and may also assemble soft serve and blizzard cakes. Maintaining an adequate inventory of the decorated cakes, keeping the display freezer full, working as a team member, working with customers to understand their design requests, staying up to date with the trends and industry innovations, etc.
You may use a variety of techniques: Icing , Gel , Drawings, Decorating kits, Air brushing , Edible Images, Lettering, Floral Designs, Etc. Some type of baking experience necessary
Requirements
Exceptional decorating skills
Ability to work in and out of different temperature ranges
Ability to perform under pressure in a high volume restaurant
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Excellent customer service skills
Positive attitude
