Medical Surgical Nurse

Job Summary:

As a Med/Surg Registered Nurse, you'll be key in collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare teams to deliver high-quality care. You’ll assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment plans to achieve excellent patient and departmental outcomes.

What You'll Do:

• Patient Care: Provide overall care and accountability for assigned patients.
• Care Flow Management: Handle patient exams, general care, admissions, testing, and discharges.
• Documentation: Maintain and review patient records, posting test/exam results.
• Medications: Administer prescribed medications.
• Patient & Family Education: Instruct on medications and treatment plans.
• Phone Triage: Respond to incoming calls and provide triage if needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing (or higher).
• License: Active RN license (or Compact/Multi-State RN license).
• Certifications: AHA/Red Cross BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• Experience: 1 year of RN experience (LTAC, LTC experience accepted).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to $48.42 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
