Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate TMS Technician. Experience in operating the NeuroStar Advanced TMS system or other TMS systems is a bonus, but not required. In this role, you will administer TMS therapy sessions, ensure the safe and effective use of equipment, and provide empathetic, exceptional patient care to individuals battling depression and other mental health conditions. Reliability and timeliness are essential for this role, as you will be expected to consistently be prepared for patient appointments.
Responsibilities:
- Administer TMS Therapy:
Deliver treatment sessions using the NeuroStar Advanced TMS system, ensuring patients receive safe and effective care.
- Equipment Management:
Set up, calibrate, and operate TMS equipment according to established protocols; perform routine checks and basic troubleshooting.
- Patient Monitoring:
Observe patients throughout sessions, monitor treatment responses, and maintain detailed session records.
- Patient Support:
Provide empathetic support and clear instructions to patients before, during, and after treatments.
- Compliance & Documentation:
Maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards and clinic protocols; report any issues or deviations immediately. Bill claims to insurance daily for TMS sessions.
- Team Collaboration:
Work closely with clinical staff to update treatment plans and optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintenance:
Ensure the treatment area and equipment are kept clean, organized, and fully functional.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
Prior experience operating NeuroStar Advanced TMS or similar TMS equipment is highly desirable but not required.
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical Skills:
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
- Interpersonal Skills:
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Attention to Detail:
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to safety and protocol compliance.
