Description:

• We are seeking a highly skilled Sterilization Tech to join our team at TN Specialty Dental Services, PLLC.
• The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Responsibilities include overseeing inventory and distribution of equipment and supplies, controlling inventory, reordering supplies, and checking expiration dates.
• The successful candidate will also be responsible for inspecting, disassembling, sorting, cleaning, and processing reusable instrumentation and equipment.
• Additionally, the Sterilization Tech will diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, and make process adjustments as needed.
• Maintaining current training status on all applicable standard operating procedures is also a key responsibility.
• The Sterilization Tech will also be responsible for creating processes and tools for mobile use of GIS for data collection and consumption.
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the department and all processing equipment is also a critical aspect of this role.
• The successful candidate will also be responsible for unloading supplies, ensuring items are not compromised and stored in the correct location according to the tracking system storage locations.
• Supporting the implementation of new technology for process execution and/or analysis is also a key responsibility.
• The Sterilization Tech will also be expected to maintain composure and professionalism when exposed to stressful situations.
• Knowledge of OSHA and state regulations is also required.
• The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to instill trust from doctors, coworkers, and patients.
• Ability to work cooperatively with management, staff, and patients is also essential.
• The Sterilization Tech will also be responsible for prioritizing, organizing, and completing tasks in a timely and independent manner.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions and accept constructive criticism is also required.
• The successful candidate will also be responsible for collecting data, establishing facts, drawing valid conclusions, and maintaining confidentiality.
• Ability to communicate and express thoughts and ideas competently is also essential.
• Ability to quickly grasp relevant concepts regarding duties and responsibilities is also required.
