Job Overview:

The Company Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations, performance, and growth of a professional services company comprising 30 team members. This role requires a strategic leader who can manage both service delivery and team development while ensuring financial, operational, and customer satisfaction goals are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management

  • Lead and mentor a team of serving and engineering professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • Set clear performance goals and provide regular feedback, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
  • Ensure effective communication across all departments, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive work environment.

Operational Oversight

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery to clients.
  • Manage resource allocation to optimize workload distribution and team efficiency.
  • Develop, implement, and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency in service delivery.

Financial and Business Management

  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial health and profitability of the company.
  • Monitor key financial metrics, including revenue, expenses, and margins, and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies without compromising service quality.

Strategic Planning and Growth

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to set short- and long-term business goals.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities, such as expanding service offerings or entering new markets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve competitive differentiation and client retention.

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients, ensuring satisfaction and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Drive client engagement and maintain strong relationships to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Gather and analyze client feedback to improve services and exceed expectations.

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and safety requirements relevant to serving and engineering services.
  • Develop risk management strategies and address potential issues proactively.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5 years of experience in a managerial role, preferably in a professional services or engineering environment.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and delivering operational and financial results.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team and client engagement.
  • Financial acumen, including budgeting and performance analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in engineering and service delivery.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Team productivity and satisfaction levels.
  • Client satisfaction and retention rates.
  • Financial performance metrics (e.g., profit margins, cost savings).
  • Project completion timelines and quality benchmarks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
