Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures according to modality certification including X-ray, CT scans, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound.
- Ensure proper patient positioning, preparation, and comfort during procedures.
- Operate imaging equipment and ensure accurate and high-quality diagnostic images.
- Review and evaluate images for quality and clarity; promptly report any issues or errors.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and ensure proper patient shielding to minimize radiation exposure.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records and imaging reports in accordance with HIPAA and facility policies.
- Keep up to date with new imaging techniques and technologies.
- Assist with patient education, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and licensing requirements, including ARRT standards and state regulations.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift or move patients with assistance when necessary.
- Must be able to safely operate radiologic equipment.

Qualifications
- Certification: Current ARRT certification in X-ray, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound.
- Licensure: Must hold state licensure where required, as per state laws.
- Education: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Experience: 1-2 Years of previous experience in performing diagnostic imaging procedures preferred. Experience in multiple modalities is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of radiologic procedures and techniques.
- Proficient in operating imaging equipment and software.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with patients and healthcare team members.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- U.S. Citizen.
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
