The ideal candidate will bring strong business process knowledge, data analysis skills, and systems experience to help us scale and improve workflows across field services, scheduling, billing, and customer management.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze current business processes across departments (Sales, Dispatch, Operations, Finance, HR, Legal and Marketing) and identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to support integration and data flow between the CRM and ERP systems.
- Gather and document business requirements for new features, process changes, and system enhancements.
- Collaborate with IT to design and test solutions for system improvements and data integration (e.g., work orders flowing from CRM to ERP).
- Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs to support decision-making across operational and executive teams.
- Provide end-user training and documentation for new system features or updates.
- Support the planning and execution of system upgrades or transitions, ensuring minimal disruption to field operations and billing cycles.
- Investigate and resolve data inconsistencies, user-reported issues, or workflow bottlenecks.
- Stay informed on best practices for CRM and ERP usage in construction, logistics, and heavy equipment rental sectors.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills & Experience
- 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, preferably in construction, logistics, or equipment rental industries.
- Experience with SaaS-based CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and on-premises ERP systems (e.g., Viewpoint, JD Edwards, or similar).
- Familiarity with business process mapping, requirements gathering, and stakeholder interviews.
- Strong/Intermediate Excel/Sheets skills and experience with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI and SSRS Reports).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across field and office-based teams.
- Experience with system integrations, middleware, or API-based data exchange.
- Strong understanding of business operations in crane and rigging services (e.g., quoting, dispatching, job costing, equipment tracking)
- Familiarity with job scheduling software or field service management tools.
- Understanding of safety, compliance, or fleet tracking systems (e.g., Samsara).
- Knowledge of SQL or scripting for data analysis is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, or related field.
- Office-based with occasional travel to field locations or job sites.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment supporting critical lifting and rigging operations.
