Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic Technician
Location: Corpus Christi, TX
Report to: Shop Manager
TNT is looking to add an experienced full-time Heavy Equipment Mechanic Technician to our growing Branch. The following are a list of requirements; You must meet all the requirements below to be considered for this position.

Summary: The heavy equipment mechanic/technician will perform maintenance and repairs on cranes and other heavy equipment, in the field and at the shop. Follows all State and Federal laws while operating motor vehicles. Follows all safety and environmental policies while performing job tasks.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, trade school diploma, or GED preferred.
- At least (2) years experience as a mechanic in a heavy equipment or crane specific environment.
- Ability to safely lift over 50 lbs.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Must have a current Texas Department of Public Safety class C Driver's License
- TWIC card a plus
- Some travel required.
- Must have own tools. Company will provide specialty tools.
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to perform scheduled maintenance including inspections on cranes.
- Must be able to troubleshoot and perform repairs on electrical and hydraulic systems using schematics. At least (2) years recommended.
- Must be proficient at researching parts using manufacture’s manuals.
- Maintain professional attitude when on customer locations and with your team.
- Maintain communication with supervisor to ensure minimal downtime.
- Must be able to document all maintenance and repairs performed on the equipment electronically via tablet.
- Must be able to verbally communicate Safety issues to Customers and other workers on location before and during job task.
- Reports to Supervisor and/or Lead Mechanic on completion of assigned job task for next assignment.
- Other duties as assigned
