What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier position at TNTX, LLC?
Purpose of Position: Under the supervision of the Office Manager, the Cashier is responsible for answering and directing all incoming calls, assisting with the salesmen and customers, in charge of putting all parts invoices in order and kept filed, and the collection of money for Parts and Service transactions in the dealership.

Essential Job Functions:
- Files and scans invoices and truck deals as well as any other documents requested by
management.
- Collects the total retail charges from the customer in cash, check or authorized charge account. * Provides the customer with the proper change and receipt.
- Completes any accounting tasks associated with the repair order or invoice.
- Answers the telephone, transfer calls to people requested or best suited to take the calls, and
take messages when the needed personnel are not available.
- Ensures that customer complaints are handled promptly and referred to the person best suited
to handle the complaint.
- Keeps the office areas neat and up to date.
- Reports to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare or
integrity of the dealership, its employees, or customers.
- Assists with title work for the sales department.
- Greets customers when entering the building and assists them with anything they need.
- Performs any other administrative tasks as directed by management.
Required Skills/ Abilities:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals,
technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers,
clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers,
common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to file accurately.
- Must have basic understanding of Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Education:
- High school education
Preferred Experience:
- 6 months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
